Few things can change the character of a bad day like a good friend. Somebody who listens, even if they can’t understand. Someone who loves to love you just the way you are, warts and all. Here at 2nd Unitarian, friendship is a spiritual practice all unto itself, and we live it loud with our friends in Hospitality and Fellowship. This Sunday, let us lift up the simple acts of welcome and kindness as the transforming faculties that they are and honor those who give of their time to enrich the spirit of our little beacon on the hill.
