Generous annual pledging helps sustain and grow the life and mission of Second Unitarian Church.

When you pledge, you are making a financial commitment to:

  • invest in the mission and goals of the congregation,
  • share in the support of this beloved community,
  • help the congregation be fiscally responsible, and
  • fulfill a membership requirement.

Annual Pledge Drive

Each spring during our annual pledge drive, we ask that you make a financial pledge, which you then fulfill throughout the upcoming church year (July 1 – June 30).

To foster generosity, the pledge drive includes stewardship conversations. These might be one-on-one chats, small-group meetings in members’ homes or church-wide dinners. Not only do these provide a time to reflect on what the church means to us, but they help us build and strengthen relationships.

You decide the amount

Please be as thoughtful and generous as you can in deciding your fair share of the church’s needs, in light of your income and means. Generous contributions from others in the past have sustained and built the church we enjoy today.

2025 Annual Pledge Drive

Our Pledge Drive for the 2025-2026 church year kicks off March 1st, 2025. We ask that you pledge to support this church, where we Love Boldly.

New Members

As a new member, we ask that you make a financial pledge within the first 60 days of your membership. Your first pledge is for the remainder of the church year, as described below. If you join toward the end of the church year — March through June — we ask that you also submit an annual pledge for the upcoming church year, as described above. Please contact membership@2uomaha.org, and we can help walk you through this.

Pledge for the Remainder of this Church Year (2024-2025)

Pledge an amount that reflects the remaining time left in the church year (July 1 – June 30). For example, if only six months remain in the church year, pledge only half of what you would pledge in a full year. You then fulfill your pledge payments by June 30th.
