Generous annual pledging helps sustain and grow the life and mission of Second Unitarian Church.
When you pledge, you are making a financial commitment to:
- invest in the mission and goals of the congregation,
- share in the support of this beloved community,
- help the congregation be fiscally responsible, and
- fulfill a membership requirement.
Annual Pledge Drive
Each year during our annual pledge drive, we ask that you make a financial pledge, which you then fulfill throughout the upcoming church year (July 1 – June 30).
To foster generosity, the pledge drive includes stewardship conversations. These might be one-on-one chats, small-group meetings in members’ homes or church-wide dinners. Not only do these provide a time to reflect on what the church means to us, but they help us build and strengthen relationships.
You decide the amount. Please be as thoughtful and generous as you can in deciding your fair share of the church’s needs, in light of your income and means. Generous contributions from others in the past have sustained and built the church we enjoy today.
