Centered on Justice: Anniversary of Roe v. Wade (Video)


Fifty years ago today the Supreme Court of the United States of America sided 7 to 2 in favor of a person’s right to choose whether to terminate a pregnancy. This landmark decision was a major victory for Women’s Liberation, but it further underscored the fundamental right we all have to bodily autonomy and self-determination. Last year this ruling was overturned.

This Sunday, gathering in the ashes of a post-Roe world, let us look both forward and inward; forward to the mult-faceted struggle that is at our door, inward to the ways we meet such struggles. Let us center on Love this day and all days and allow that Love to move us to meet the world and it’s woundedness.
