“Love is the spirit of this church”…So it is said in so many Unitarian Universalist congregations across the country. This lead-in to the covenant written by the 19th century Unitarian minister James Villa Blake, beloved by so many, invokes the name of Love not as something flimsy and ephemeral but as the ground of our very being as a community. This Sunday, let us explore this deeper Love and explore the ways in which it shines through both our principles and the proposed Article 2 values. Rev. Juniper will be joining us in spirit as our worship leaders share a recorded video of her sermon lifting up the Love at the heart of our Living Tradition.
