When it comes to guns and America, it would behoove the nation to look to the Unitarian Universalist tradition and our Second Principal which advocates justice, equity, and compassion in human relations. Back in 1972, the UUA issued a Statement of Action items for city, state, and federal governments. Since then, gun violence has increased, our culture has radicalized, and people feel hopeless. Let’s talk about how we can move forward, save lives, and move towards justice, equity, and compassion.
