Welcoming the Turning: Mabon (Video)

The Wheel turns and the time of balance returns. Whether we name the day Mabon, Alban Elfed, Harvest Home, or the Autumn Equinox, we mark the balance of day and night before the darkness overtakes the light, lifting up the final harvest of the year after the summer sun has ripened the fruit of fields and trees, offering gratitude to the Mother Earth for the abundance provided and sharing our own gifts to feed the needy.

All are invited to bring some non-perishable snacks, beverages, and cans that can be opened without a can opener, as well as other small, essential toiletries so that we may stock up our pantry to supply people in need who come to our congregation seeking assistance.
