We are blessed to have such a magnificent space to celebrate our faith, to find community, and to deepen our relationship with Love and Mystery. The quality of a space transforms the experience of those who dwell within it. The groundskeepers are often overlooked, there tasks seen as mundane, but this could not be farther from the truth. To tend to the land, to lay the groundwork of a garden; these are sacred acts as worthy as any prayer. Whether we are cleaning up litter in a creek or helping pick up branches after a big Nebraska storm, the care we give to our spaces is a reflection of the care we give unto ourselves, and we deserve care.
This Sunday, let us recognize the transforming power of space, aesthetic, and the land itself, honoring those good souls on Buildings and Ground and Aesthetics who help make 2U a wonderful place to worship!
