Soul Matters: A Meeting Place Where Deep Listening Really Matters

“Learn to be quiet enough to hear the genuine within yourself so that you can hear it in others.”  (Marian Wright Edelman, lawyer and civil rights activist)

In this time of social, environmental, and political unrest, we hear protesters pleading: “Just listen to us.”  Our service this Sunday is on the monthly theme of Deep Listening, which is also a component of two Soul Matters groups established at Second Unitarian.  Members of those groups at 2U, Judy Wieczorek and Laura Bergevin, will introduce us to Soul Matters, its benefits, and offer their views on the importance of learning to listen deeply as it has contributed to fuller meaning in their lives.
