Solidarity Forever

The Labors of Love

What comes to mind when we consider Labor Day? Unions, pay increases? A day off from work? This Sunday, you are invited to join us as we explore the work that weaves our modern society together and the struggle for justice paid in blood, sweat, and tears that have produced the hard won rights workers rely on today. From the Coal Mine Wars of the 1920s to recent efforts locally to pass paid sick leave, our continued struggle for the common good and human dignity are rooted in sacred work begun long before our time. Let us root ourselves in the work of liberation, let us make the movement move, and may we seek a deeper Love together.
