To Save the Earth

How does one persevere in the face of the wicked problems of our day? The mounting complexity of the world reveals itself like a many headed hydra whose body is hard to discern beneath the writhing mass of troubles. While we may not individually have the resources to tip the scales we may consider the disposition with which we confront the strife. This Sunday let us turn to the philosophies of Donna Haraway and Joanna Macy to seek a hope that can be held in the hand and to build truly sustainable beloved communities. We will be joined by a special guest musician, luminary of our living tradition and hymnist Jim Scott as he stops through Omaha on his Year to Save the Earth tour!

All are invited to join us again, Sunday evening at 6 for a special concert with Jim Scott!
