Meet the Moment – October 4th from noon to 3

The core of our shared Unitarian Universalist faith has long placed a charge on the hearts of those who claim it to be present, to show up in the struggle for liberation, and to take measured risks in the name of the greater good, rooted in Love.

Ours is a faith that calls us to root deeply in our collective values and common commitments while remaining adaptable enough to meet the moment we are in.

On October 4th, 2nd Unitarian will be hosting a workshop exploring how we meet the moment we are in together. As Unitarian Universalists, we understand that a good question is like unto a prayer, beacons guiding us through uncertainty, and so it is paramount that we ask the right questions. We will frame our time together through these three queries…

  • What is the moment we are in?
  • What are the most urgent needs and important opportunities of this moment?
  • What do our shared values call us to do in response to this moment?

This first workshop will be available in person or via Zoom with a lunch break and time for fellowship in between.
