One-on-One Relational Training

Take the Next Step to Becoming a Super Communicator, join us for our One-on-One Relational Training on Saturday, January 11th – noon to 2 p.m.

In a November homily, Rev. Juniper focused on using 1:1 conversations to build relationships in the church. 1:1 conversations are also an important foundation for building strong and trusting relationships between church and community members. The path to becoming a super communicator is to become a good listener and learning what interests and energizes people is a key.

Sarah Keeney, OTOC Lead Organizer, will provide the training; it will be a hybrid training (in-person at church and on Zoom). This training is co-sponsored by the Social Justice Committee and the Faith Connections Committee as a follow-up to the well-attended Super Communicator First Hour.

If you are interested in attending as someone new to this, or to have a refresher to hone your skills, please sign up by January 10th. To register, email justice@2uomaha.org or look for a social justice member with a clipboard after church on Sunday, January 5th.

We are excited to start the new year with a positive, love affirming action that can only make us stronger as individuals and a congregation.
