“Give the youth a proper environment. Motivate them. Extend them the support they need. Each one of them has infinite source of energy. They will deliver.” – Dhirubh Ambani
The Young Religious Unitarian Universalists (YRUU) is hosting their annual talent show to celebrate the end of another school year and kick-off the summer! Join us Friday June 3rd!
This collaborative event is open to anyone, of any age, from First and Second Unitarian church. This will be a hybrid show – participants can choose to perform live in front of a crowd of supportive UU’s or pre-record a video. We will also be showcasing art pieces.
We know that our creative congregants have skills to share and we want to see them; but don’t shy away just because you may not have much performing experience. This is a wonderful opportunity to try something new in a loving environment.
Here are some acts we’d love to see and/or have seen in the past:
- Singing
- Skits
- Dance
- Musical instruments
- Magic
- Hula hoop
- Comedy
- Juggling
- Lip sync
- Poetry reading
- Or impress us with something entirely original!
When: Friday June 3rd at 6 p.m. (We are announcing this event over a month in advance to give you time to plan, practice, and create!)
Where: First Unitarian Church and Zoom
How: Participants must be registered by May 18th (watch e-news to learn how)
