Heartland Pride Parade and Festival

Please join us for the annual Heartland Pride Parade and Festival, taking place Saturday, June 25. The theme this year is Transforming the Heartland. Through our involvement, we affirm our support for LGBTQ individuals to be fully themselves, as well as our commitment to work for equal rights for all. We’ll be joined by First Unitarian Church in both the parade and the festival. The following events will take place during the weekend:

Friday, June 24 – Youth Pride Celebration and Dance at Stinson Park in Aksarben Village, 6-10 pm. This is a great night for the youth to celebrate their diversity in a safe setting. The event is geared toward those 13-23 years of age.
