One half of Second Unitarian’s offering received in July will be split between Tornado Relief for Undocumented Families and the Chickasaw Nation Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund. First Unitarian Church of Oklahoma City, St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, and activists from midwestern states created the Standing on the Side of Love Fund to provide tornado relief for undocumented families whose status makes it difficult to receive institutional help. And in the wake of the Oklahoma tornadoes, the Chickasaw Nation Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund is assisting Chickasaw citizens and Chickasaw Nation employees who have been directly affected.
