This past week most of our staff team at 2nd Unitarian have been out in Albuquerque, New Mexico to attend Institute; a program by our denomination designed for our leaders’ continuing education. This year is very special as in the past only ministers attended this event, but these days we are aiming to honor the reality that ministry is a larger, shared endeavor.
It takes a village to realize the ministry of a congregation. All of us have a part to play, from full time staff to part time volunteers, from the newly curious to the long established. This Sunday, let’s hear from our Director of Religious Education Ashleigh Fuson, our administrator Jaime Short, and our minister Rev. Juniper Meadows as they report their learnings at Institute, the joy of connecting with other Unitarian Universalists, and the interwoven future of our living tradition.
