As we enter into our exploration of the value of Equity we also enter into our stewardship season at 2nd Unitarian; a time to celebrate the gifts that sustain the living ministries of this community and to take stock of the needs and opportunities within the life of the church.

It can be a complicated time. Not everyone can contribute in the same way, nor can we be certain about the future. It begs the question, “why do we give?”.

This Sunday, let’s turn that question over in our minds as we reflect on the purpose of giving as an expression of faith in the future.
