Easter Sunday: Death & Glory

Easter Sunday means different things to different groups of people. To Protestants and Catholics it is the holiest of days, commemorating the resurrection of Jesus and the birth of the new covenant. For Unitarian Universalists it can take on entirely different dimensions.

While we as a tradition are not exclusively Christian, many of our theological ancestors understood Easter to be less about an historical resurrection and more the victory of Love over Hell itself. This Sunday, let us explore our Universalist heritage and the promise of new life held therein. All are invited to hang out after worship for an Egg Hunt and fellowship!
