The next “step” in this Contract to Call process is small group meetings for members. Input from Small Group Meetings will determine the recommendation to Call (or not) Rev. Meadows as our settled minister. Please select a date and time that works best for you and sign up here. Plan about an hour for the meeting.
Here are your choices:
- Sunday, April 14th, 12:00 noon (in-person only: light snack provided)
- Wednesday, April 17th 6:30pm (Zoom only)
- Saturday, April 20th, 9:30am (In-person only)
To prepare for this small group meeting, below are the 4 questions we’ll be considering. Please note that the questions have been revised to be more meaningful to the purpose of our small groups.
Revised questions for small groups:
- What were you hoping a minister would bring to the congregation?
- How have the last two years compared to your expectations?
- What aspirations do you hold for the next stage of our church’s development?
- Is Rev Juniper a good match for the next stage of the congregation’s development?
A summary report of the information shared during the meetings will be compiled and disseminated to the membership. Based on information from the small group discussions, a recommendation will be made to the Board to call (or not call) Rev. Meadows to be our settled minister
