Since 1984 Habitat for Humanity Omaha has served more than 1,800 families and individuals through homeownership, home repairs and neighborhood revitalization efforts. It operates two Habitat ReStore home improvement outlets that sell new and used, donated materials at greatly reduced prices. Through the Deconstruction Program, its teams salvage quality, reusable materials from renovations and demolitions, and provides opportunities for the public to purchase reclaimed items. It relies on volunteers for much of the construction and renovation work, and welcomes volunteers from all faiths (or no faith) who actively embrace Habitat for Humanity’s goal of helping families build wealth through home ownership.
To learn more about Habitat’s programs, you are invited to attend our First Hour discussion at 9:00 AM on Sunday, July 11th. Becky Vinton, Senior Development Officer with Habitat for Humanity of Omaha, will be our guest speaker. Use this link to join the Zoom Meeting
