Heartland Pride Parade and Festival

Celebrate Pride!

We are looking forward to the Annual Heartland Pride Parade & Festival on Saturday, July 12th. Second Unitarian Church invites you to join in the fun!

Here’s some things to know:

Parade is 9:30 to Noon at 1140 Capitol Ave, downtown Omaha. If you are planning to attend the parade, please let Cindy Ramsey know just so we have an idea of who to expect. It is not a requirement.

Getting there:

  • ORBT:  Prepurchase your tickets here or buy them at the Westroads ORBT kiosk (Northwest corner of parking lot).
  • Self Drive: Parking is available at the CHI Health Center
  • Carpooling: If you are interested in carpooling, let Cindy know. We would meet at 2UU at 8:45 am.

What to bring: Bring sunscreen, water/water bottle and sunglasses. We will have Pride handouts.

Show your unity: Wear your yellow “Side with Love” t-shirt. Don’t have one? No fear: loaner shirts are available first come first serve: Shirts will be available Sunday, July 6th at 2U for you to grab one to borrow. Accessories (crazy hats, rainbow umbrellas, boas, etc.) add to the festive atmosphere. If you miss getting a shirt, don’t let that stop you from joining us.

Festival Booth: Once again we will have a booth at the Pride Festival this year! (We will also be there for Youth Pride on July 11th.) Please sign up for a shift to help share your faith and celebrate love, inclusion, and unity at Heartland Pride Festival 2025! The Festival is at the CHI Health Center (455 N 10th Street).
