One half of Second Unitarian’s offering received in March will go to The Malcolm X Foundation.
The Malcolm X Memorial Foundation is headquartered in Omaha. Founded by Mrs. Rowena Moore in 1971, the Foundation serves as a historical landmark for the birthplace of Malcolm X, now covering 12 acres of manicured greenspace in the heart of North Omaha. The Foundation offers public programs and events inviting all to participate in the positive social action motivated by the teachings of Malcolm X, focusing on Leadership Development, Social Action, and Civic Engagement.
