One half of Second Unitarian’s offering received in September will go to My Sister’s Keeper.

My Sister’s Keeper is Nebraska’s first African-American breast cancer survivor’s support, education, and advocacy group. They provide community education and screening information to decrease the high mortality rate from breast cancer in African-American women. They offer financial assistance for women newly diagnosed while going through treatment. Along with monthly meetings, members are available for emotional support to women in need.
