Working for justice in our world is a principal way for Unitarian Universalists to express their faith. Second Unitarian Church has a rich legacy of justice-making.  You are called… This is an opportunity for all of us as members and friends of Second Unitarian Church to consider what we are doing as an institution and as individuals to create a more just and caring world. Join us as we consider what we want to do as a religious community to put our faith into practice, to bring our mission into reality.

Guest Facilitator – Jacqui Williams, a member of First Unitarian Universalist Society of Albany. Jacqui, previous chair of Catalyst, St. Lawrence District’s anti racism/anti oppression/ multicultural committee, served on the General Assembly Planning Committee, was president of DRUUMM (Diverse and Revolutionary UU Multicultural Ministries) and recently completed service on the Commission on Appraisal. Currently, Jacqui serves on the UUA Presidential Search Committee.

Lunch/snacks will be provided for children and workshop participants on Saturday. (Donations accepted).

Child Care will be provided – Last date to request child care – Sunday, January 12th
