Second Unitarian is a founding member of OTOC (Omaha Together One Community), the local congregation-based community organization. Training sessions during the summer let you know how to make Omaha a better place to live by carrying out actions based on shared faith values. You can attend any or all sessions.
The series continues on Monday, August 18, at 7:00 p.m. at Augustana Lutheran (3647 Lafayette Avenue) with Cycle of Organizing: how moving from individual meetings, to small group issue teams, into research, and public actions leads to community changes.
The final session is Monday, September 8, at St. Pius X Parish Center at 7:00 p.m. which is a public conversation with candidates for OPPD.
