One half of Second Unitarian’s offering received in October will go to OneWorld Community Health Centers, providing culturally respectful, quality health care with special attention to the underserved. OneWorld is the only primary care clinic that has a majority bilingual and bicultural staff, a sliding fee scale for patients without insurance, and entitlement enrollment. They maintain an open door policy providing treatment regardless of immigration status or income.
In 2012, OneWorld saw 24,643 individual patients in 100,129 visits. 100% of donations go towards programs and services. Visit www.oneworldomaha.org.
