Teens! Please join us for a viewing and discussion of the movie “Saved” led by Bob Fischbach, movie reviewer at the Omaha World-Herald, this Sunday November 17 from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. Snacks will be available and a free will donation will be taken for pizza.

“Good girl” Mary and her domineering best friend are starting their senior year at the top of the social food chain at their Christian High School–that is until Mary’s boyfriend tells her that he thinks he may be gay. When Jesus appears to her in a vision, she heeds his message to “do everything she can to help her boyfriend” and, to her horror, she ends up pregnant. Her “disciple” friends turn against her and Mary finds herself an outcast. She and her new group of outsider friends band together to navigate the treacherous halls of high school and make it to graduation–ultimately learning more about themselves and finding faith in unexpected places.
