The next edition of the Unitarian Universalist Association’s (UUA) 2019-2020 webinar series will focus on Being Beloved Community. Many people love smaller congregations because they like knowing everyone and being known. Learn how our congregations can build on that strength by offering an authentic welcome to newcomers, encouraging healthy relationships, and setting boundaries when some of the people that we love cause harm.
Everyone is encouraged to learn from this webinar. Pizza delivered at 5:45 p.m.; webinar starts at 6 p.m.
Please RSVP by notifying Vicki Pratt.
More about this webinar series:
This year the UUA is offering a webinar series entitled, “A Year of Learning and Connection for Small Churches.”
The series, which is live-streamed to our church, focuses on how small congregations can reach their greatest potential.
- Smalls Making a Big Difference – October 16th. Featured social justice outreach by four small congregations.
- Right-Sizing Your Congregation’s Operations – November 13th. Featured how small congregations can right-size their structure and governance.
- Stewardship and Sustainability for the Long Haul – January 15th. Featured incorporating a “Time and Talent” pledge into the annual pledge drive.
- Being Beloved Community – February 12th
This is an opportunity to virtually meet UUA Congregational Life staff and members of other congregations as well as hear how small congregations can achieve big goals.
