Every month, Second Unitarian shares 1/2 of our offering with a local non-profit. Our share the Plate for September and October is the Omaha Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind (NFB).

For September and October half of our pledge will go to the efforts of the NFB, to achieve equality, opportunity, and security for the blind; to support the policies and programs of the Federation; and to abide by its constitution. Our Omaha chapter alongside surrounding areas, the Nebraska association of flying students, the senior division, the parent group, and an developing guide dog users forum sum up our state affiliate.
