First Hour is this Sunday, July 13th at 9 a.m. Our Share the Plate partner for July and August is Restoring Dignity and we are welcoming Paw Bway Htoo as our speaker.
She was born in a refugee camp in Thailand & immigrated to the United States at the age of 14. Paw Bway Htoo earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the
University of Nebraska at Omaha and later completed her master’s in public health at Concordia University. In recognition of her impact and leadership, the Karen Society of Nebraska honored her as one of the Extraordinary and Powerful Women of 2022.
Her presentation will be sharing the amazing things Restoring Dignity does. If anyone is interested in immigrants in Omaha, they don’t want to miss this. You can join us in person downstairs or on zoom.
