Join Us for First Hour to learn about the work of Civic Nebraska. Our Share the Plate partner for July and August is Civic Nebraska, a Lincoln-based organization dedicated to creating a more modern and robust democracy through youth civic leadership, civic health programs and voter rights initiatives.

Please join us for First Hour on July 14th at 9 a.m. either at church or via zoom to hear Lily Sughroue, Director of Civic Health Programs, tell us more about this organization’s work. Lily is responsible for directing and sustaining one of Civic Nebraska’s three program areas – Civic Health Programs. She is responsible for the success of the programs and projects within the program area, which include the rural civic health initiative, civil discourse and media literacy programming, Capitol Experience Days, and Collective Impact Lincoln.
