Community Happening: Sierra Club Regenerative Farm Tour

Don’t miss our Nebraska Sierra Club Regenerative Farm Tour on Saturday, August 17th.

In August 2019, several 2U members participated in Sierra Club’s first Regenerative Farm Tour which featured visits to two farms and a fantastic lunch at a restaurant featuring locally sourced, organic food.

There has been a lot of progress in the development of Regenerative Agriculture Technology during the past five years. Many smaller Nebraska farmers are adopting sustainable, regenerative practices rather than the non-sustainable industrial agriculture prevalent today in our state.

Thanks to Graham Christensen, Sierra Club is sponsoring a second Regenerative Farm Tour on Saturday, August 17th. Graham, founder of RegeNErate Nebraska, is a national leader in the movement towards sustainable agriculture. See Christensen advocates for family farms and environment.

Our Sierra Club Chapter will pay the rest. Tour includes lunch at the Chatterbox in Tekamah with the meal catered by Chef Anthony Warrier.
