Virtual Water Ceremony September 12th

We will be having a virtual Water Ceremony on September 12th, and you are invited to be a part of it. Because it is not yet safe for us to gather in person (as we had hoped), we will be gathering virtually to mingle our waters as we mark the beginning of the church year.
You are invited to snap a “selfie” or brief (5-10 seconds) video of yourself adding your waters to our common vessel. We have placed a bowl near the stone cairn on the east side of the church building, if you’d like to come to the building and snap your picture there. Or, if you’re unable to make the journey, send a picture of yourself and your pouring water wherever you are. Send your selfie photo/video to Carla/bill Kuhn or the church office info@2uomaha.org by September 8th, along with a short reflection about the spiritual meaning of your water – what it represents for you – for inclusion in our service on September 12th.
(While you’re at the church, be sure to take time to see the recently renovated front entrance) – new steps, decks, and railings, ready to receive us all when we can return safely to the building.
