August’s Share the Plate recipient is the Food Bank for the Heartland as they are in need of monetary donations. The Food Bank can better stretch a dollar than a regular consumer can. One dollar can provide 3 individual meals!
There are many in Omaha that suffer from a food scarcity on a normal day and this problem has exploded with the disruption caused by the virus.
