One half of Second Unitarian’s offering in July will go to Centro Latino of Council Bluffs.
Centro Latino is a family services referral service for underserved populations, especially immigrant families, in Council Bluffs. They build community among the 6,000 immigrants dispersed throughout the city as well as make referrals for those in need. 2U member John Knape is on the board of directors.
Centro Latino is a 501(c)3 organization which depends on grants and donations to serve immigrants in the Council Bluffs area. Your Share the Plate contribution will be a great assistance in helping immigrants obtain the support they need.
Centro Latino’s Facebook page is available in Spanish here.
