Religious Growth and Learning is collecting grocery-type plastic bags for the February Service Learning Project.  We will be preparing the bags and weaving them into sleeping mats for homeless veterans on Sunday, February 23.  Please help by bringing bags to the church foyer collection box.  Produce bags, newspaper bags, and other plastic wrappings are NOT usable for this project, so please bring only bags from stores such as Target, Walmart, ShopKo, Bag ‘n Save, Baker’s, and HyVee.

Crocheters! If you have a large “Q” crochet hook, bring it Sunday, February 23 to help make mats with a representative from the VFW Ladies Auxillary. Bring scissors and join us to learn to “crochet” the mats.  Hooks provided to those who don’t have them, no need to buy a new one.
