OTOC’s “Death and Taxes” Team and guest speaker update us about the prospects in the 2015 Legislative Session for changes to Nebraska income and property taxes and efforts to reform Medicaid in order to cover the 70,000 people now caught in the “coverage gap” caused by Nebraska not expanding Medicaid coverage.

OTOC’s Sustainable Energy Team and guest speaker tell us how we can move Nebraska into the future by continuing efforts to encourage sustainable energy from sources like wind, solar, and bio fuels. The conversation will include an update on major legislation affecting the environment that has been filed in the Unicameral.
