Our 50th Anniversary Book

In celebration of Second Unitarian Church’s 50th Anniversary, many members of the congregation have contributed to our written record of folk history.

Good News! Each Member Household will be eligible for one copy of Second Unitarian Church “50 Years: A Beacon of Hope” at no cost to them. We are completing the final editing of the book which has about 250 pages of history, pictures, reflections, poems, artwork and writings by members and former members.

We need your help to determine how many books to print. If you are thinking of getting more than your member copy, perhaps as gifts to family or friends, please let us know by email the number of books to reserve for you. To help defray printing costs, there will be a charge for more than one book per member household. The cost will probably be around $15-$20 depending on what we are charged for printing. Please send your request for additional copies to Jaime at info@2uomaha.org by April 16th.

We are very proud of this book and hope that you will enjoy reading, learning more about our past, remembering and looking with us to a bright future.
