Religious Education & Youth Group has begun

First Sundays – Children gather downstairs on the first Sunday of the month for curriculum based on lessons and activities. Our religious education (RE) program strives to create a culture where our children:

  • Are listened to, valued and encouraged toward their better selves.
  • Explore religious ideas together and reflect thoughtfully on their meaning.
  • See and live UU core values in action.
  • Find comfort, joy and wisdom in our shared UU stories, rituals, worship, and celebrations.
  • Are empowered to think critically to discern their personal beliefs and live their values.

Young Religious Unitarian Universalists is a youth group for students in 7th-12th grade from both First and Second Unitarian churches. They meet on Wednesday evenings to explore their spirituality through curriculum, field trips, planning activities (like the annual youth worship service, traveling to youth conventions, fundraising, service projects, etc…) and relationship building under the mentorship of our amazing Youth Advisors!
