One half of Second Unitarian’s offering received in April will go to Heartland Family Service – Better Together.
Heartland Family Service – Better Together is a family-centered intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment facility. Parents suffering from an addiction oftentimes can’t or won’t get the help they need because it requires being separated from their spouse and children. The Better Together program focuses on keeping both parents and their children together throughout treatment.
