Return to Building Status: Red
We remain solidly in the RED category in regard to our Return to Building Plan. We are all waiting and watching for the numbers to go down. The church building is ready for us to come back whenever that happens.
The Unitarian Universalist Association recently put out this guidance for the current Delta Variant situation. We would encourage you to read it.

*Outdoor Religious Education Stipulations
- Do not come on the church property if you are feeling ill or have a fever.
- Please email the DRE and advise them you will be coming.
- Bring your own outdoor chairs for seating.
- Maintain good social distancing (3 to 6 feet) before, during, and after the event.
- We are allowing one adult and two children at a time in the building for restroom purposes.
- Prior to leaving the church please wipe down toilet handles, faucets, & inner door handles with wipes that are located on the counter in the restroom.
- Please remember to lock the building at the conclusion of the event.
**Building Entry Stipulations
- Do not come to the church if you are feeling ill or have a fever.
- Please email the office and advise them you will be coming.
- We are allowing one visitor at a time for business office purposes. Volunteers and contractors who are working in the building should not exceed more than 10 people. They should employ reasonable social distancing (not be all working in the same area of the building).
- Religious Education is allowed to have indoor movie nights, under the above stipulation. Attendance is to be capped at 10, masks must be worn, and significant social distancing is to be observed. Members of the same household do not need to social distance from each other.
- Wear masks that cover both your mouth & nose. People on ladders do not need to wear masks.
- Church Kitchen: Only one person is permitted in the Kitchen at a time, and after food/beverage preparation is completed, all surfaces should be sanitized. Everyone is encouraged to bring personal water bottles.
***Music Production Stipulations
- Do not come to the church if you are feeling ill or have a fever.
- Please email the office and advise them when you will be coming.
- Volunteers (Singers, Musicians, and Technicians) who are working in the building should not exceed more than 10 people at any given time. They should employ reasonable social distancing.
- Wear masks that cover both your mouth & nose. Singers do not need to wear masks while actually performing. Unmasked singers should be soloists, or members of the same household.
- Ventilation: Ordinarily we would want the windows open, if weather permits, but obviously that may be less desirable due to street noise if microphones are in use. Please experiment with opening at least a few windows. Ceiling fans are recommended but per CDC guidelines they should be set to the mode of pulling air upward as opposed to pushing it down, and should be at the slowest speed setting.
- Church Kitchen: Only one person is permitted in the Kitchen at a time, and after food/beverage preparation is completed, all surfaces should be sanitized. Everyone is encouraged to bring personal water bottles.
