In an effort to provide more opportunities for socialization and discussion, we’re starting a MOVIE NIGHT! Every other Friday we’ll be watching a movie selected by someone from the church and discussing it afterwards. The idea is “Find Wisdom Where You May” so hopefully people will pick some interesting films with deep meaning for them and then lead interesting discussions.
Our next movie will be Jennifer Kent’s horror film The Babadook shown on Friday, February 14th at 7 p.m. It is unrated (suitable for ages 17+), and is 95 minutes long.
Instead of charging admission, we will be collecting food donations for the church’s adopted family. Though of course no one will be turned away if they don’t have a donation. The list of what they need can be found on the Signup Genius form.
We will also be collecting loose change to go into the church’s technology fund to help maintain the projector and sound system.
Attendees are also invited to bring snacks or beverages to share if they choose.
Hope to see some of you there!
