2U - Sanctuary
Soon, all members of Second Unitarian will be receiving new name tags. These will be made in-house, with large print for accessibility reasons – so that people with vision issues can read them. Folks will also have a chance to add a sticker with the pronouns they use, such as she/her/hers, they/them/theirs and he/him/his. As part of a process of being welcoming to all, including gender non-conforming and transgender people, it is hoped that everyone will add their pronoun stickers to their name tags. Why does knowing the pronouns we use to reference ourselves matter? And what difference does it make in the life of the congregation? Cyndi Simpson will present and facilitate discussion.
Join us Sundays from 9 a.m. to 10 in the Sanctuary (child care provided).
