2U Food Brigade Feeds Habitat for Humanity Workers

Second Unitarian provided food and beverages on Oct. 13 to the hungry workers at the Faithful Builders Habitat work site at 13956 Hickory Circle. Thanks to 2U’s Food Brigade (JoAnne Draper, Cheri Cody, Ruth Corwin, Carol Johnson, and Vicki Pratt) no one went hungry! The “walking” tacos were a big hit.

Thanks also to the 2U workers that volunteered Saturday: Mary Anna & Clyde Anderson, Rick Bell, and Larry Kurtz. The focus was getting the kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, doors and door trims installed, plus the usual cleanup chores. The home is approaching completion!
